OUR CODE OF CONDUCT
Ethics are important to our business, so much so that our Board of Managers has ratified a “Code of Conduct” that we operate by.
Likewise, our Advisory Committees adhere to a strict code of ethics set forth by national purchasing associations for all our RFP (Request for Proposal) processes and contract awards. (Our Advisory Committees are made up of volunteer Members and analyze offerings from a variety of suppliers, choosing vendor partners that will best serve the HPS membership.)
HPS IS A MEMBER OF:
Healthcare Group Purchasing Industry Initiative (HGPII)
This is an organization comprised of group purchasing agencies that adopt and implement high standards of business ethics.
A variety of other resources are available to give our Members peace of mind, including our anonymous HPS Ethics Hotline and the Vendor Product Verification overview, offered through the Office of Inspector General, which verifies each product for legitimacy and quality.
Healthcare Supply Chain Association (HSCA)
This organization not only holds us to HSCA’s industry standards, but helps create new ethical business standards for all GPOs to follow.
